Job DescriptionNortheast Regional Medical Center (NERMC) in Kirksville, Missouri i s recruiting a board-certified, board-eligible General Orthopedic Surgeon to join a hospital employed practice serving a growing regional patient population.

Here, you'll join a multi-specialty group with strong regional recognition, collaborative physician relationships and consistent patient demand. The support of Tennova Jefferson Memorial Hospital creates an environment that combines physician-led practice culture with hospital-based support and referral access. This opportunity is ideal for surgeons seeking professional autonomy, practice growth potential and the ability to deliver orthopedic care for patients. .
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
- Full-time, hospital employed position (no locums or part-time)
- General orthopedics with some total joints
- Nurse Practitioner support
- Hospital has a Level III trauma designation
- Dedicated block time with 24/7 anesthesia
- High volume, quick ramp-up
- Access to robot
- 5 ORs, run 3-4 rooms daily
- Shared call coverage
- Office space available with x-ray
- Work in a supportive environment with access to referring PCPs and specialists
- Robust onboarding, marketing, and physician outreach support
- Strong clinical and administrative support
- Dedicated medical assistant from day one, additional support added as volume grows
- Clinic has 10 exam rooms
- Casting and imaging available in the clinic
- Teaching opportunities across five residency programs
- Experienced surgeons preferred, but will consider strong new graduates
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible and have completed U.S. residency training
- J1 visa support is available
COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE MAY INCLUDE:
- Experienced surgeon will make up to $875K in total compensation with an 18-24 month guarantee and wRVU bonus incentives
