Trauma-focused Orthopedic assignment in eastern Kentucky with flexible block options and no joint cases.

Practice Setting

• Level II trauma center with outpatient support
• Mix of inpatient rounding and outpatient follow-ups
• On-site imaging, casting, and OR support
• Staffed with NPs, PAs, surgical team, and trauma unit

Schedule

• 24-hour call, 7:00 am to 7:00 am
• May split into shorter blocks to accommodate coverage
• No backup call; occasional first assist support available

Cases and Procedures

• High-volume post-op and acute trauma cases
• 21 to 25 patients per day in clinic
• No total joint procedures

Requirements

• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
• Active Kentucky license or IMLC eligible
• DEA required

Travel Accommodations

• Flights, lodging, rental car, and mileage reimbursed
• Nearest airport is 1 to 2.5 hours from site
